Driving their way to success

Grundon Waste Management is celebrating after achieving a prestigious runners-up place in The Oxfordshire Apprenticeships Apprenticeship of the Year Award.

The glittering awards ceremony, attended by more than 400 business people from across the region, was held on Friday June 17, at the Oxford Thames Four Pillars Hotel in Sandford-on-Thames.

Having taken top honours in the Large Business Award 2015, the Grundon team was hoping to make it a winning double, but after a close fought contest was pipped at the post by Stuart Barr CDR.

The Oxfordshire Business Awards are now in their 22 nd year and this year around 300 firms from across the county competing in 15 different categories.
